$60 — 30-Minute Consultation
Discuss your film, creative direction, reference music, scoring needs, timeline, and next steps directly with a composer. If you move forward with an eligible custom scoring commission, your consultation fee can be applied toward the cost of the project.
Give your film a musical identity that supports the story you want to tell. Our Custom Film Music Consultation is designed for independent filmmakers and creators who want to explore how an original score can elevate their project before committing to a full scoring commission.
During your consultation, we'll discuss your film's story, characters, tone, emotional goals, musical influences, and key moments, along with any reference or temp tracks you may already be using. We'll also talk through practical considerations such as the amount of music needed, production style, timeline, deliverables, and how an original score could fit within your project's scope.
Whether you have a detailed musical direction in mind or aren't sure where to begin, this consultation provides an opportunity to collaborate directly with a composer and develop a clearer musical vision for your film.
Great for: Short films, feature films, documentaries, trailers, student films, festival projects, and other independent productions.
After purchasing, you'll receive instructions for scheduling your consultation and providing any project materials you'd like us to review in advance.
Ready to find the sound of your story? Let’s talk about your film.
